NEW ANTENNA SITE SEARCH PROGRESS
The radio station's search for a new transmitter site is well underway, with a number of new locations up for consideration.
The new site will be more elevated than the present location, and will provide coverage to Seymour and the surrounding towns in the Northern Mitchell Shire and Strathbogie Shire.
This means Seymour FM will finally reach neighbouring Pyalong, Trawool, Broadford, Avenel and Nagambie.
EASTER WEEKEND FUNDRAISER
The Easter weekend fundraiser, which included outside broadcasts from Safeway and IGA Seymour was a great success. Seymour FM thanks the people from Seymour for their support in the fundraiser which raised over $1,500 towards the Transmitter Appeal (relocating to the one of the surrounding Hills for better coverage). Seymour FM sold raffle Tickets for 7 Easter baskets, and sold sausages in bread on both days.
