Transmission coverage map Seymour FM 103.9 can be heard on a STANDARD RADIO in the Seymour Township, and in the neighbouring towns of Avenel, Tallarook, Trawool and Mangalore, These areas are shown in darker red on the coverage map below.
Greater reach is achieved with a car radio or a standard household radio with antenna fully extended, or using an external antenna. These areas are shown in the lighter red on the map below, including Nagambie, Broadford, Greytown, Pyalong, etc.

Transmitter Site and Coverage Limitations
The present transmitter site is at the Mobs Siding complex. The transmitter tower is 20 metres above ground however this area is in the middle of the valley in which Seymour is located. This limits our allowable transmitter power, and therefore affects our coverage.
Transmitter Appeal
The Transmitter Appeal is designed to provide for the funds to relocate the transmission facility from Mobs Siding to the GV Water site, just near the radio tower on the hill on the Melbourne side of Seymour. This will vastly improve coverage to the northern Mitchell Shire and Strathbogie shire, providing for effortless reception in presently harder to receive areas, with the potential to reach Euroa and Longwood to the north, and better reception to the south in Broadford, and in-car reception to Kilmore, and Wallan on the Hume. The key will be to provide coverage to the community in the northern Mitchell Shire and Strathbogie Shire.
Donations and Contributions
Every contribution over $30 will be acknowledged on this website, in addition to the station's contribution of up to $1000 per month from sponsorship revenue. Everyone who in any way supports the station will be supporting the Transmitter Appeal.
